Happy Fat Tuesday! Here in Detroit it is officially Paczki (pronounced punch-key) Day. No clue what a paczki is? Click to see the
story from the Detroit Free Press. My favorite is apple and I already had mine today delivered straight from Hamtramck this
morning! My honey is the best! The whole time I'm eating it...I'm feeling horribly guilty and can feel the bulk of my ever-expanding
belly ...but figured it's the least I can do to prepare for Lent. What am I giving up? I'm not sure yet. I'd give up food altogether to lose
my ample ass if it were possible. Have until midnight to figure something out. After my 420 calorie and 25g of fat paczki...I figure I
can live off THAT fat for at least another day....and if I keep going...I can probably rationalize having a couple more....all in the name
of Lent. According to the lady on the news...I have to climb over 1000 stairs to burn off ONE paczki. You buyin' this? *snort*
Have you seen this guy? These are the most clever photos I've EVER seen. He's featured this month in Smithsonian magazine..I
had to cut out the one in Lipari...one of my absolute favorite places on the planet. Pecorino is officially the coolest dog ever.
I have an ongoing soap opera with my car. That hussy is loving the drama and attention. Yesterday, I run to the bank to cash my
less-than-pleasing paycheck and guess who decided to choose that very moment to be the center of attention by not
starting...yep...hussy car. So...she gets primped and cleaned and a brand new battery...all is good right? Well, she is a teaser....I
go to warm up the car this morning...have some errands to run....she starts like a champ...I'm happy, she's happy...all is good in the
hood. She sits in the driveway for 10 minutes warming up....I back out of the driveway. She dies. I take my foot off the gas at the
stop sign..she dies. I try to turn around...she dies. Best I can figure out there may be a problem with my fuel injection system? No
clue...but this is now beyond my abilities and I'll have to figure out a way to get it to Belle Tire up the street without running into
something when the car spontaneously dies. Did I mention she's hussy-red...GAH!
I have a very exciting show this weekend..it is a "Shop for a Cure" fund raiser that I was invited to by a friend of a friend who I think is
just wonderful! It is for the Breast Cancer 3-day walk in August and a portion of the proceeds from that day will go towards the walk.
I will be donating 20% of all proceeds at the show to April and her walk-fund. I'm such a techno-dork, I have NO idea how to link to
an adobe file....so bear with me while I try to figure out how to link you to the announcement flyer April made up...until then..the
details are: Saturday March 4, 2006 1-5pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 23631 Greater Mack Ave in St. Clair Shores, MI.
Additionally, I will be running a 20% donation for all sales made on my website thru Friday. I'll be adding any proceeds from the
website to my total on Saturday..so if you've been waiting to order some beadies or supplies...now might be the time!
I have beadies cooling in the kiln as we speak....I'll be posting later...

Ahhh...a new week begins! Kiddo has no school all week so we plan on bumming around a bit tomorrow. Got myself a fishtank
yesterday as a reward for quitting smoking! It's a 35 gallon hex (I can't say hexagon..Johnny makes fun of me because of my
weird-ass accent)..I also found out I can't say apothecary without a great struggle...but that's another rambling.........
Anyhoo...going fish shopping tomorrow..I'll be sure to post pics then!
Realized Oh My GAWD....so behind on the trivia contest AND I have several emails to answer tomorrow...so if you have emailed
me and don't hear from me by tomorrow...send me a smack-upside-my-head email to remind me!
On a funny note...I REALLY wanted to take a pic to share...but I'm sure I would have had a minor confrontation with my neighbor
had I come outside with my camera.....apparently they were having a little get together...and I live on a culdesac....so there are cars
everywhere....actually...and this is the funny part...there were Dodge minivans everywhere. I mean minivans as far as the eye could
see down the street. Do you SEE the excitement I'm surrounded by? There were 20 minivans at a PARTY...now that's an
oxymoron if I ever saw one.
We went to Pelagos Greek restaurant in Greektown this weekend to celebrate Johnny's birthday a little late. A friend of ours had
her 4 month old little girl with her and dang if she isn't the cutest thing! omg. So good and so cute. *squeals like a girl*. So we
have dinner, go to a little bar downtown Detroit....I'm the DD so I'm just drinking water and enjoying the drunk show. That ol' brain
to mouth filter just fails after 2 beers doesn't it? Makes me never want to drink in public again! People are stupid stupid stupid. But
I'm all for cheap entertainment so I wasn't complaining......
Johnny's grandparents stopped by and left us some Glumpki's! We love grandma's Glumpki's....I'm just surprised she didn't go to
the basement and hit the Sizzlin' 7 machine......oh well, got's mah Glumpki's.

Lotsa beadies today with an auction going up tomorrow on ebay. I'm keeping it a "secret", but I'll just say it's in the color combo
that I'm a wee bit obsessed with right now and too cute! Speaking of cute...two new specials are up
I've also lowered the prices on my Sterling Silver Smooth Beadcaps and Byzantine links...I found a new supplier with MUCH better
prices...so I'm passing them on to you!
Lots more to say today...had a rather enlightening conversation with my boss this morning. Lets just say you can't trust who you
think you can...and Alysia, Carla, and Jennifer if you are reading this...up yours..and I mean that in the most painful way possible.
Ahh...feels good to get that OFF my chest and all is well with my boss..as it should be. Gossip is a hateful thing and things said in
confidence should stay that way....and even though SOME people felt the need to tell my boss my ventings...I didn't repeat what
THEY said to me about her.....which wasn't too flattering. I don't believe in vengeance but I do believe in Karma.
It's officially snuggle-on-the-couch time...so until tomorrow...

Happy Valentine's day everyone! Hope this day finds all of you in looooove. My honey got me a bunchabuncha Yankee
Candles...he got the ones that smell good. :) He's such a keeper! This being our 6th Valentine's day...we are both a little "over"
the dinner and flowers thing. I love my candles and our food-court pizza we had yesterday. Life is good.

Well...this is the result of my 7am AHA moment today. I'm kinda diggin it! Bear with me while I organize the rest of the site
too...putzing around this morning and realized some of the buttons don't take you where they are supposed to...so a total revamp
is in order!
Still no new beadies...sorry! Got pulled away to work yesterday..had to go to court with an hour's notice. Yikes! Tomorrow...I
promise!
Still not smoking...even after the Casino and some indulgence in my favorite...Vodka Cranberry with lime. Did pretty good at the
craps table (hate the word, love the dice)..guy next to us won $1500 on a hard 8. One roll of the dice and whammo...house
payment. Too bad it's a GAMBLE. *snort* I've decided to reward myself with a fishtank after a month of not smoking...but wasn't
around for the end of an ebay auction this weekend...so...if any of ya'll have a hex tank sitting around you wanna sell or trade for
beadies...let me know...I REALLY REALLY want one.

Happy Friday! Just a quick note...I'll be heading out of town for the weekend up to Mt. Pleasant for a meeting. Here is where we
are staying. Guess what I'm doing all weekend! Anyhoo....I'm having trouble with my email today...maybe related to the weird
service for the past two days...but I keep "timing out" when I try to send an email..and I do have a few to respond to. So..........if you
don't hear from me until Sunday..that is why...Sowwy. :(

Happy Tuesday everyone! Have a couple of pokers in the proverbial fire right now..the biggest of which...I quit smoking. Yep...just
quit. Thank you Brent for the motivation. The biggest and most unanticipated side effect is being ditzy. I feel like a class A Playboy
Bunny in the brain...just wish the bod came as a side effect too! ha!
Also have a big project in the works that I'll post as soon as myself and my faboo partner Terry get it all finalized...but let's just say
it's big and it's FABULOUS!
Have you seen that show "Isaac"? wow..is he funny. Clap for her! Clap for her! *snort!
No new beadies just yet...have a couple of ideas bouncing around ...but haven't been able to get them to come to fruition thanks to
the lack of concentration..egads. But it's worth it. :) I'll be rewarding myself with a fish tank at the end of the month! yay! My sweetie
(aka: Mr. Insta-satisfaction) got a bug up his butt....wanna see what's in my basement? Check it out.
