I told you I wasn't done playing with the site. Nope..not even close!
I've been working on a shopping cart system and do think I finally have something together...look for it's premier in the next couple of weeks. I've also
gotten a wonderful response for the Bead Caps and yet again..completely ran out of stock within just a few days...lemme tell ya...this chica learns her
lessons...my next silver order will be sure to (hopefully..ya'll use ALOT of beadcaps! haha) keep them open and available all month.
And the bestest news of all...Kalbach publishing was impressed with the outpouring of evidence against Austin Hamilton (AH...or asshole as he is so
affectionately known in some circles) and have ended their affiliation with this company for sponsoring contests...not sure what the verdict is for
advertising. Nobody was arguing his right to sell a product..it's the dishonest stinkeroo attitude that did him in. Most of us that wrote in did receive
emails that said thanks and the contest is over! So if you were one of the many that contributed to this effort..pat yourself on the back! Not very often that
an effort pays off and this is the first of many steps to not let this weasel fool his customers any more
Well, time to head off and finish pouting. It will be quite some time until I get over my beloved Illini getting KNOCKED OUT of the NCAA championships
on Saturday. So so so so sad....and my Illinois beads aren't even MADE yet...I always make them the week of the sweet 16.....*cry*

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Taking a moment to check in before I go play Taxi-cab to the party go-ers. Hooo boy...what a day...any excuse to drink
before noon.
Been playing alot with frits and canes and twisties this week! I took pics last night to post here this morning as specials,,,,but yucky!! Why do cameras
seem to have a mind of their own sometimes? One day gorgeous pics...next day...weird and fuzzed out. *sigh* Anyhoo, I do have some beadies up as
specials..what doesn't get purchased will be going up on eBay on Sunday. I can't retake the pics right now...Kyle has the camera at school to take pics
of moon rocks. Shhhh...I'm not supposed to know what he needed the camera for so I have to act all surprised when he gets home. I'm having a little
problem with my buy -it-now buttons (translation..I don't know wtf I'm doing)...so bear with me...email for any purchases until I get it figured out! Thanks!
Been doing my usual watching-of-the-fluff-TV. Top Chef is entirely TOO COOL! If you aren't watching...well, you need to drop what you are doing and
watch! I have such respect for any true talent in the kitchen...but that Steven guy...oh please...take your superior attitude and big ass Botox-ed lips back to
Vegas...he is so on my last nerve. He also reminds me of an ex..maybe that's why I can't stand him...or maybe it's his snotty voice...it's anyone's guess!

Speaking of going back to Vegas.....oh yes....oh yes.....the annual trek to the city of sin will be in June of this year. Debauchery and gambling will reign
from June 22 to June 30. The first half of the trip will be for a bachelor/bachelorette party and the second half....me, Johnny, and a friend will be
participating in a FOR REAL World Poker Tour tournament. *panic* Wish me luck!
Sorry I haven't been around lately...it is March Madness time...and if you follow my blog...you know I'm a rabid Illini fan and was thoroughly enjoying the
stomping they gave the Air Force last night.
I had sterling Bead caps up on ebay and yowza...almost totally sold out in about 24 hours. You guys are FABOO! Look for more towards the beginning
of the month!
There was a recent email sent out by BeadStyle magazine with a link for a sponsored contest with Austin Hamilton. Well, this company is soooo
dishonest and soooooooooo misleading...I am personally (for what it's worth) boycotting this magazine and any events. Advertising is one thing...you
gotta make a buck..but this kind of close affiliation with a disreputable company....gotta take a stand at some point.

Current Happenings March 9th (barely)
Ever have one of those weeks when you haven't been able to focus on just one thing? I feel like I have ADD at the ripe old age of 36 and so many ideas
bouncing around my bean. Tonight...I finally have one of those "I just can't stop torching nights" and yep....you guessed it...I have to work in the morning.
My muse is such a moody beotch. So, since the glass has eluded me all week, I did what any self respecting up and coming business owner
does...she fiddles with the webbie. Bear with me...I'm sure this will pass.
We have a new addition to the fam...Kitty. John's parents are in Florida until May and we get to kitty sit. We love her. She talks all the time and if you leave
the couch...she follows you upstairs and yells at you until you go back to the couch. Needless to say...one of us has slept on the couch in the basement
every night since she's gotten here. She sure does have us wrapped around her little paw. She also digs French Fries and grilled cheese sammiches.

Had to check out some of my absolutely favorite fluff shows...Wednesday is such a busy night. America's Next Top Model was interesting to say the
least...my favorite moment...that *ahem* girl from Texas Dani...who said (this is an exact quote) "I know all about racism. I'm a cheerleader." (insert
blank stare that says do you realize just how stupid you are?) I can't even respond to that one. My second favorite moment in this evening of epic
TV...Taylor Hicks from American Idol. LOVE his voice. Can't watch him. Just can't. It's almost painful. WHEW! Good thing Lost was a rerun...I may have
stressed out if I had to watch ANOTHER show tonight!
It's almost Snoopy Dance time. Spring is coming. I can FEEL it. I know if kids dance on the porch in their pajamas they are supposed to get a snow day.
What do I have to do for sunshine? I'm open for suggestions.
Lots of goodies on ebay right now..clearing out the stuff from last years shows as I decide if I want to do shows this year. Still undecided...the market is
so icky thanks to imports and cheap cheap cheap stuff. Can't compete with that...so I think I'll just start shooting my sights higher...I have until May to
apply for one of the big shows and bead only shows for this year. Wish me luck!
